Timothy Umbreit is a seasoned attorney and has practiced law for 28 years. In addition to being an attorney he is a licensed mortgage broker and operated his own mortgage company from 2002 to 2007.
He has filed hundreds of bankruptcy cases and been involved in complex bankruptcy litigation. As a former Chapter 7 panel trustee, he participated in the US Trustee Pilot Program. He has handled numerous cases including civil and criminal, Public Utilities Commission, Administrative hearings, conducted both judge and jury trials.
He joined Bander Law Firm in early 2009 to head up the Bankruptcy practice and lends his experience to help the whole team.He is licensed to practice law in California, Nevada and Maryland.
Mr. Umbreit graduated with a Bachelors Degree in History with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee. He received his Juris Doctor from the University Of Baltimore School Of Law.
